Edge of the Forest, 1946, edition of 15 (Flint, 221). Signed "Louis Lozowick" in pencil l.r., monogrammed in the matrix, identified on a label affixed to the reverse. Lithograph on paper, image size 8 3/4 x 11 3/4 in. (22.3 x 29.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins 1 1/2 inches or more with deckled edges, fine rubs to paper, perhaps resulting from the printing, pale mat burn, paper tape to upper edge, cellophane or similar tape to lower edge.
N.B. The house is a view of the artist's summer home at Croton-on-Hudson. The Lozowicks summered there in the 1930s and early 1940s.
