Two cream-colored stoneware vessels with geometric devices in relief, and a red glaze white porcelain vase, all incised Pitney on base, ht. 9 3/4, 6 1/2, 4 1/2 in.
William Pitney was a Professor of Ceramics at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in the 1950s and 60s. He attended Alfred University as a young man.
