Description:

Six Small Bright-cut Silver Spoons, Paul Revere, Jr. (1734--1818),Boston, Massachusetts, the circa 1800 spoons each with swag-form shell design on the back of elongated oval bowls, rounded upturned handle with mid-rib on the front, engraved "B/EJ"in block letters on back of handle, stamped "REVERE" in a rectangular enclosure, lg. 4 1/2 in., approx. 2 troy oz.

Note: Purchased at Shreve, Crump and Low in 1910.
