Portrait Miniature of a Young Child Wearing a White Dress, circa 1830, watercolor on ivory, depicting a bust-length oval portrait of the child facing left wearing a white dress with pink ribbons at the shoulders, 2 1/4 x 1 7/8 in., mounted in a gilt brass brooch frame with beaded bezel, with a lock of hair in a compartment on the back. Condition: Image good, ivory plaque bowed and loose, repair to brooch fastener.
