Blue and White Woven Wool and Cotton Jacquard Coverlet, possibly woven by I. Christie, Bergen County, New Jersey, 1838, two-piece double-weave coverlet with a central field with floral medallions, eight-point stars, and birds enclosed by borders with urns of flowers, birds in trees, animals, and roosters, the corner blocks identifying the owner and date "Hannah Wertendike 1838," fringed on one end, (minor toning and stains), 94 x 71 in.
