Crane's Patent Twelve Month Clock, Year Clock Company, New York, c. 1846, the four free-standing column, pine and mahogany case with applied pressed brass mounts, green paper lining interior base and sides, reverse painted tablet, pressed dial surround, paper under glass dial marked Year Clock Co., New York, A.D. Crane's Patent, year duration brass spring powered fusee movement with Geneva stops, Crane's "walking" escapement, strike release and a six ball, bi-metallic, temperature compensating pendulum, (painted glass by association; imperfections), ht. 23 in.
