Chippendale Mahogany Carved Side Chair, possibly New York, c. 1765-80, the shaped crest rail carved with leafage and scrolled terminals, above a pierced splat and raking styles, on a trapezoidal upholstered slip seat and frontal cabriole legs with acanthus-carved knees on claw and ball feet, the rear canted legs on square pads.
