Watercolor on ivory, depicting a bust-length portrait of a bearded gentleman wearing a black jacket, red flowered vest, white shirt, and black cravat, 2 1/4 x 1 7/8 in., in an engine-turned oval brass case, the reverse engraved with the initials "W.B." Condition: Minor tiny superfluous brown spots.
