Possibly the Work of Mr. Willson (New Hampshire, 19th Century)

Miniature Portrait of Gentleman. Unsigned. Watercolor and ink on paper, c. 1825, depicting a half-length profile portrait of the gentleman, wearing a black jacket, red pinstriped white vest, white frilled shirt and cravat, 22 x 17 1/4 in., in a period molded wood frame. Condition: Toning, tears creases, abrasions, moisture stains.

Provenance: The Tates, Sonborton, New Hampshire.
