Professor Arthur Cucino (American, 20th Century)

Second Avenue Barbershop. Signed "A. Cucino" l.l. and stamped "Prof. Arthur Cucino" in ink on the reverse. Oil on panel, showing a scene a woman in red walking down a street with a brick building with a storefront barber shop with a black cat in the doorway, 10 5/8 x 10 5/8 in. Condition: Scattered small paint losses.

Provenance: From The Don Walters Collection, sold at Sotheby's, 1986.

Note: According to tradition, Professor Cucino lived in Brooklyn, New York.
