African Carved Wood Mask and Elaborate Headdress, Wobe, the mask with protruding pierced "coffee bean" eyes and metal teeth, the long angled headdress decorated with red, black, and yellow cloth and leather, cowrie shells, animal hair, and large brass bells around the chin, (some loss), ht. 26 1/2 in.
Provenance: Sold for the benefit of the Brooklyn Museum.
