Jumeau DEP Bisque Head Doll in Original Lacy Bebe Outfit, c. 1890s, for the French trade, brown sleeping eyes with original lashes, open mouth, row of upper teeth, pierced ears, probably Simon Halbig production, impressed DEP 5, original cork/composition pate, brown mohair wig, fully articulated composition body in original finish (one finger broken off), original long baby-style outfit with heavy transparent gauze undergarment stitched closed around legs, long pink cotton dress with cream-colored lacy overlay and pink ribbon trim, lace bonnet, (fraying and damage to silk ribbon), in the style of the Parisian shop Au Nain Bleu, ht. 15 1/2 in.
