Two-Day Marine Chronometer by Richard Hornby & Son, No. 1341, with 4-inch diameter silvered Roman dial signed Richard Hornby & Son, Liverpool, No. 1341, subsidiary seconds and up / down dials, blued-steel hands, fusee movement with helical hairspring and compensated bimetallic balance, and gimbaled brass bowl with clamp, in brass-bound two-tier mahogany case with brass carrying handles and retailer's label of Francis M. Moore Chronometer and Watchmaker, 114 High Street, Belfast, wd. 7 in., (observation glass and winding key missing).

Note: Richard Hornby is listed in partnership with his son between 1837 - 1851.
