Early Platform Automaton of a Lady, circa 1850, possibly Antoine Vichy, with bisque shoulder head, molded and painted blonde hair, painted eyes, closed mouth, and articulated wood arms with white bisque hands, on green-painted three-wheeled platform with clockwork mechanism and single cam mounted on rear axle causing the figure to move forwards and move raise her arms, in the original polychrome silk regional costume decorated with Dresden paper, ht. 12 in., (sleeves possibly old replacements), under period glass dome on ebonized base with bun feet, total ht. 16 in.
