Daguerreotype Portrait of a Lady, sixth-plate, with tinted cheeks and pendant, in leather case with embossed design of a ship with legend on the flag E. White; and two daguerreotype brooches.
Note: Edward White is first listed in 1833 as a manufacturer of pocketbooks at 157 Broadway, New York. After the introduction of the daguerrian process, White is listed in the directories as a "morocco case manufacturer".
