Peerless 6-inch Terrestrial Globe Lamp, by Weber Costello Co., Chicago, copyright 1909, made up of twelve colored gores, with applied Equatorial band, Ecliptic divided by days of the month and the Zodiacal sigils, Analemma, population table, and Russia labeled as the U.S.S.R., on axis formed as an arrow piercing the unscaled meridian ring, with removable lamp fitting, brass horizon circle with cast symbols from the Zodiacal calendar, supported at North and South by Taurus and Capricorn, and baluster-shaped column to circular base, ht. with fitting 28 in.
