Binocular Microscope by Henry Crouch, No. 820, polished brass, with Wenham-pattern tube engraved Henry Crouch, London, with rack-and-pinion coarse focusing, fine focusing on the nosepiece, lever to adjust interocular distance, slide-in camera lucida prism, sub-stage wheel stops, plano-concave mirror, brass trunions (originally painted), reverse-claw foot, ht. closed 14 in., and complement of accessories including a Watson 4-inch objective in cannister, stage forceps, and a R. & J. Beck Ltd. bull's-eye condensor, in fitted dovetailed mahogany case, wd. 15 in.
