Pair of Louis XV French Silver Sauceboats, Paris, c. 1745, maker likely Charles Cesar Haudry, ovoid, with short spout, cattail ear handle with reed and rocaille terminal, shaped rim with rocaille detailing, on low spreading base with shaped rim, engraved to both sides with heraldic roundel in rocaille surround, topped by count's coronet, ht. 5 3/8, lg. 9 in., approx. 40 troy oz.
