George IV Silver Loving Cup and Matching Ladle, London, 1820, William Elliot, maker, the campagna urn with entwined snake handles, the slightly domed lid with openwork fruiting grapevine finial, lobed rim, body mounted with similar band of grapevine at waist, and with flat leaves to base, on trumpet foot with husk rim, lid engraved with crest, body with coat of arms, ht. 13, approx. 83 troy oz., the ladle with ovoid bowl, openwork grapevine handle mounted with grapes and leaves, lg. 10 1/4 in., approx. 5 troy oz.
