Portrait of the Clyde Line Steamship S.S. Apache. Signed and dated "A. Jacobsen West Hoboken, NJ 1904" l.r., the vessel identified on the bow and pennant. Oil on canvas, 29 1/2 x 49 1/2 in., unframed. Condition: Relined, repaired tears, scattered retouch primarily to sky and hull.

Note: The Clyde Steamship Company's S.S. Apache was the first to establish a direct passenger service between New York and Miami.
