Federal Mahogany Inlaid Tall Case Clock, Aaron Willard, Boston, c. 1800, the hood with a pierced fretwork joining reeded plinths topped by finials, above the molded arched cornice and glazed tombstone door enclosing a polychrome and gilt moon-phase dial with seconds hand and calendar aperture, lettered "A. WILLARD", and eight-day brass weight-driven movement, all flanked by reeded brass stop-fluted columns, the waist with molded door, the maker's engraved label affixed to the interior, flanked by reeded brass stop-fluted quarter columns, on the base resting on ogee bracket feet, old finish, (imperfections and restoration),ht. 92 in. including finial.
