Pair of Chests, China, K'ang Hsi period (1662-1722), lacquered wood, double doors with archaic-style railings, bronze mountings, surface decorated with landscapes, flowers, and lotus scrolls, (old repairs and loss, surface crackled), ht. 38 3/4, wd. 43 1/2, dp. 21 3/4 in.

Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, with all proceeds to benefit the Museum's acquisition funds.
