Description:

Three Compasses, New York, a dry-card ship's compass by E. & G.W. Blunt, New York, on gimbaled mount, in stained wood case with sliding lid, (bowl split), wd. 10 in.; a Quibla dial with pierced inner lid, compass and index arm in circular case, the lid, base and sides engraved with various characters and graduations, diam. 2 1/2 in.; and a 20th century compass trade sign, painted cream, with black points and directionals, revolving brass "needle" and hub stamped Greenway, Clivevale & Co., diam. 13 1/2 in.
