Description:

Early Key-Wind Overture Musical Box by Lecoultre, No. 11607, the bedplate stamped C, playing four overtures by Rossini, Cherubini and Bellini, with knurled cylinder endcaps, blued steel comb-screws with brass washers, instant-stop and replica tune-sheet, in polished walnut case with boxwood stringing to front and lid, plain interior, hinged endflap and diamond-shaped key escutcheon, wd. 18 1/2 in., cylinder 11 x 3 in.

Note: The overtures are: Matilde di Shabran, Anacreon, Il Puritani and Il Turco in Italia. The comb has approximately 160 teeth, and tunes are pinned to play for just over two minutes.
