Store-Front Clockwork Advertising Automaton for W.W.W. Guaranteed Rings, circa 1930, with two painted metal dwarves with articulated arms rhythmically beating an anvil on block marked "Stones Do Stay In", above two linked brass rings on a perpetually swinging diamond-shaped "pendulum" linked by eccentric crank to open-spring motor, in oak frame with placard "Buy a W.W.W. GUARANTEED RING for Yourself, or as a GIFT. A GOOD RING is a sign of Prosperity and Success. As a GIFT it is Always Acceptable, wd. 16 x ht. 24 in.
