Bebe Tricoteur Automaton by Roullet et Decamps, with bisque head stamped in red Depose Tete Jumeau 7, closed mouth, straight neck, fixed blue paperweight eyes, heavy feathered brows, pierced ears, brown hair wig, and bisque hands holding knitting needles, sitting on turned chair with upholstered seat, the going-barrel movement in the body playing three airs and causing the figure to rotate her hands rhythmically, nod her head and raise and lower her right leg, in ivory silk costume with lace overlay and brown leather shoes stamped Depose, ht. 19 in.
