French Bisque Swivel Neck Lady Doll, c. 1880, probably Jumeau, oversized hand-cut almond-shaped pale blue paperweight eyes (roughness or small chip on right lower lid),lightly outlined and shaded lips, pierced ears, earrings with small turquoise bead, head impressed 0 at base of neck, ash blonde mohair wig over cork pate, swivel neck on bisque shoulder plate, gusseted kid body with separate stitched fingers, original white cotton lawn undergarments with lace insertion and trim (foxing),brown leather high button boots, ht. 13 1/2 in.
