Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig Bisque Head Girl Doll, Germany, early 20th century, dark brown sleeping eyes, open mouth, four upper teeth, pierced ears (flakes on both), gold drop earrings, impressed Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig 3 mark, medium brown human hair wig, fully articulated composition body (apparent light overall repaint), white cotton undergarments, split drawers (yellowed), period toast-brown wool challis dress and jacket with featherstitched detail (some moth damage), brown stockings and bronzed leather shoes marked C.M. with large rust-brown rosettes, ht. 23 in.
