Kestner 129 Bisque Head Doll, Germany, late 19th century, blue sleeping eyes, open mouth with four inset upper teeth, even bisque coloring, impressed H 12 Made in Germany 129 mark, golden blonde human hair wig, fully articulated composition body with separate balls at shoulders, elbows and knees, jointed wrists, red Excelsior 2 1/2 stamp on hip, original body finish, ecru wooly long union suit, blue-grey wool flannel sailor suit and hat, white challis collar, gold bullion braid trim, watch on chain (some fading, moth damage), black stockings, no shoes, ht. 19 in.

Provenance: Doll originally belonged to OSC's aunt, Anna Wiese.
