Fancy Painted Pine Dressing Box, America, second quarter 19th century, scrolled terminals on crest of rectangular box with brass knobs and ball feet, the crest and sides painted yellow, light green, dark green, with gilt leafy flower blossoms with green and black striping, grain-painted top surface with green and black striping with ovolo corners, (minor scattered paint loss),ht. 9 1/4, wd. 17 3/4, dp. 10 1/8 in.
