Plaque Depicting the Home of Pension Organizer Dr. F.E. Townsend, signed H.R. Keller, the rectangular plaque centered with a round reserve with applied cut-out and painted wooden segments depicting an old log cabin with a shield-shaped label inscribed "Home where Dr. F.E. Townsend was born on Jan. 13th 1867. Fairburg, Ill.", 20 1/4 x 20 1/4 in., framed.

Note: Dr. F.E. Townsend was the originator of an old age pension plan movement in the mid-1930's, and also proposed to replace the American two-party system.
