Lancaster County, c. 1885, composed of sixteen mariner's compass block in printed calico fabric in shades of turkey red, dark green, blue and yellow, the compasses appliqued to scallop edged circles in blue calico, further appliqued to a yellow ground, blue binding, backed with bands of blue, red, yellow,and green calico, (very minor wear),71 1/2 x 73 in.
