Painted Dome-Top Box, probably French, c. 1820, rectangular box with brass hinged, domed lid, the exterior covered with paper and painted mustard with orange reserves decorated with sprays of blue, yellow and green blossoms, and concentric wavy line ovals in yellow and orange, the interior lined with marbled paper, (minor wear),ht. 7 7/8, wd. 9 3/4, dp. 7 3/4 in.
