Elsa, Dite la Viennoise, 1897, second state, edition of 17 (Wittrock, 180; Adriani, 205). Signed and numbered "No 2 TLautrec" in pencil l.l. within the image, monogrammed in the matrix, inscribed "no. 2" in pencil l.r., next to Gustave Pellet's collector's stamp "GP" (Lugt, 1190). Lithograph in blue, umber, red, and violet-gray on paper, image/sheet size 22 1/8 x 15 7/8 in. (56.1 x 40.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Deckled edges, staining near edges, rippling, foxing.
Provenance: Fred Grunwald Collection, Los Angeles, then by descent within family.
N.B. This print was published by Gustave Pellet in May of 1897. Elsa was a Viennese performer at the Rues des Moulins.
