Appliquéd Cotton Baltimore Album Quilt with Birds, c. 1845, twenty-five blocks with floral, wreath, bird, and leaf motifs in predominantly red, green, and yellow printed fabric on a white ground bordered by red and green swags and bowknots, one corner with applied fabric strip with ink inscription "Annie D. Morrison," white cotton backing, twill tape binding, diagonal line quilt stitches, (minor toning, scattered light stains),104 x 104 in.
Provenance: Ex Peto collection. Deaccessioned from the Pennsylvania Quilt and Textile Museum, Lititz, Pennsylvania.
