Pair of Classical Giltwood, Brass, and Glass Two-Light Candle Sconces, probably France, late 18th/early 19th century, each with carved eagle figures on a giltwood pilaster of bundled acanthus leaves issuing two scrolled giltwood and wirework scrolled arms with brass candlecups suspending glass prisms and giltwood balls, the whole mounted on a giltwood bowknot with tassel terminals, (minor imperfections), ht. 26, wd. 10 3/4 in.
