Pieced and Appliqued Cotton Album Quilt, New Jersey, c. 1850, forty-eight blocks depicting floral and foliate motifs in predominantly red, yellow, blue, and green printed cotton fabrics on a white field, the blocks separated by a red printed grid, the whole surrounded by a meandering, flowering vine border, (minor light stains),88 x 100 in.
