Note: The City of Birmingham was an iron single screw schooner with three decks and a saloon deck, constructed in 1888 at the Delaware River Co. in Chester, Pennsylvania. Its owner was the Ocean Steam Ship Co. of Savannah, Georgia and the port of registry was Savannah, as well.
