Classical Carved Mahogany Veneer Sofa, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1815, the book-matched veneered crest rail end with carved palmettes and "C" scrolls above the crisply carved foliate devices on the scrolled arms which continue to the arm supports and front rail having a pulvinated center above curving molded C-scrolled sabre legs which terminate in brass paw feet on casters, the green and gold 20th century upholstery on the sofa and bolsters is in perfect condition, refinished, ht. 34 3/4, wd. 84, dp. 23 1/4 in.
