Thomas Nelson MacLean (British, 1845-1894) A Spring Festival, Bronze Figure of Two Nymphs with Tambourines, the two dancing figures classically clad, one draped with a skin, both wearing floral circlets, their tambourines in upraised hands, mold incised signature, date 1881, and inscription "suggested by Alma Tadema picture," after Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema's painting On the Road to the Temple of Ceres: A Spring Festival, ht. 28 1/4 in.
