Six Pottery Vessels, Japan and America, 20th century, used in the art of Ikebana floral arrangement, a small wood-fired vessel in white and ash glaze, a double-handled goblet form, a cylindrical vase with fluted decoration and a cylindrical vase with angular handles, both in cream and black glaze, and two oval vessels with brush glaze decoration, some with impressed marks, ht. 4 7/8 - 12 1/4 in.
Provenance: From the estate of Ms. Richardson, master arranger in the art of Ikebana. She traveled to Japan to study the art and brought back many pots from her travels.
