Wavy Birch Carved and Inlaid Chest of Drawers, probably southern New Hampshire, possibly by the Dunlaps, early 19th century, the rectangular top with inlaid edge overhangs the case of four drawers with stringing in ovolo outline; flanked by quarter-engaged columns wrapped with a vine-like stringing and having diminutive fan carving above and below the columns on a molded base with carved geometric shapes above sharply spurred bracket feet, mostly original brass, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 38 1/2, wd. 36, o.w. 38 1/2, dp. 18, o.d. 19 1/4 in.
