Shaker Veneered Wood Trinket Box, Poland Hill Novitiate Order, Sabbathday Lake, Maine, probably 19th century, rectangular box with hinged lid covered with light and dark wood veneers in a simple geometric design, the interior lid fitted with a mirror and secured with green patterned paper strips, lift out tray with compartments, red printed cotton fabric on pincushion and two compartment covers, the whole lined with blue paper, (wear),ht. 3 7/8, wd. 11 1/4, dp. 8 in.
