Accompanying the lot is a note which identifies the figures in the photograph which was written in pencil on the back of the photo, also an e-mail correspondence from Enfield Shaker Museum president Galen Beale about the history of the building part of which reads ..."the Enfield Shakers built this building and it's accompanying dam in 1840's and then leased it to the world's people who ran a variety of manufacturing businesses in the building.,"
