Lot of Four: AMERICAN HOMESTEAD SPRING, SUMMER, FALL, AND WINTER. Identified by inscriptions in the matrix. Lithographs with hand-coloring on paper, mounted in molded maple frames. American Homestead Spring, 1869, (Conningham 170), sheet size 10 x 13 7/8 in., margins of 5/8 in. or more, repaired losses on three corners, tear c.l. edge, several repaired tears on edges, minor toning, ranks 45 in the "New Best 50" small folio; Summer, 1868, (Conningham 171), sheet size 9 7/8 x 13 7/8 in., margins of 5/8 in. or more, few light creases, light toning and stains, small edge losses u.r., small tear l.r. edge, ranks 39 in the "New Best 50" small folio; Autumn, 1869, (Conningham 168), sheet size 10 x 13 7/8 in., margins of 5/8 in. or more, repairs on edges and corners, light toning, ranks 34 in the "New Best 50" small folio; Winter, 1868, (Conningham 172), sheet size 10 x 13 3/4 in., margins of 5/8 in or more, several repairs to losses and tears on edges and corners, minor toning, ranks 23 in the original "Best 50" and 5 in the "New Best 50," small folio.
