Wool and Cotton "Uncle Bill's" House Pictorial Hooked Rug, New York, c. 1920, the rug composed of multicolored strips of woven wool and cotton jersey fabric hooked onto a burlap backing, depicting a house flanked by trees with a brown border, entitled "UNCLE BILL'S" at lower left, the reverse with a fabric label "Emma Heredeen, Geneva, New York, c. 1920, 808 South Main Street," (the reverse with reinforcement patches), 26 1/2 in. x 35 in.
