Wool Yarn Stitched Geometric Shag Rug, possibly Shaker made, America, late 19th/early 20th century, composed of multicolored strips of intact and partially unraveled hand-knit or machine knit woolen yarn, in a concentric rectangular pattern, hand-stitched to a cotton ticking ground, woven cotton flannel backing, 24 x 38 in.
