Dominick & Haff Sterling Repousse Tureen and Undertray, New York, c. 1886, retailed by Bigelow, Kennard & Co., the ovoid tureen with canted corners, with gadrooned rim, beaded loop handles, the body chased and embossed all over with dense foliates on stippled ground, ht. 8 1/2 in., the conforming undertray with floral border and gadrooned rim, 11 1/2 x 10 1/4 in., both engraved to underside with presentation inscription dated 1887, approx. 76 troy oz.
