(1777-1864), Sec. of War, Attorney General, Letter Signed, March 20th, 1834, one page, to the Treasury Dept., concerning specie and public deposits for the bank of the State of Alabama; Eaton, John Henry, Sec. of War, autograph letter in the third person, one page, to Daniel Webster, insisting that his name be removed from the defaulters list as he has directed a settlement of account, docketed; Lane, Louis (1786-1857), Sec. of Treasury, two items, Autograph Letter Signed, April 20th, 1843, to his son, hoping for a visit and family matters; a Signed Promissory Note, accomplished, (fair to good overall).
