Franklin, Benjamin (1706-1790), Autograph Letter, March 2nd, 1785, one page, to an unknown recipient, in the third person, "Mr. Franklin presents his compliments to Mr. Partridge, & begs his care of the enclosed letter to Gov. Pownall now at Marseilles, it relating to the affairs of Mr. Barry. Mr. F. takes the Liberty Mr. Partridge was so good as to allow him of sending a Packet to his care for Mr. Barry; and he heartily wishes Mr. and Miss Partridge a prosperous Journey, Passy, March 2, 1785," docketed, (good, very minor staining).
